Catharsis: attempted in past. Appreciated in future.

The first of nine edited sketchbook drawings with minimal colour and an overall "grungy" look. A screaming, anguished figure is at the center, with their hands tensed near their head. It is emphasised by long, explosive lines.
An otherwise blank page with all-caps writing. It reads: "I need a punching bag or a hard fuck."
A strange, grim face in darkness. Remnants of surrounding faces are cropped out.
A large, ink spiral filling an entire page.
Obscure, dark faces on a colourful, frantic background of various scribbles. Many long and short lines have been cut into the page. Words in all-caps read: "I never want to speak again."
An upset yet flat face drawn very messily. A large red line slices through it's face, and a red spiral overlaps one eye. lllegible words are scattered around it's face. The clearest read: "Speaking as if I'm even here is sickening," "I will never exist how you need or want me to" and "I feel bruised."
A digitally edited sketchbook page with minimal colour and an overall "grungy" look. Large, all-caps writing is centered. It reads: "Maybe Eve had a cock and Adam a cunt. Maybe Adam was a gruff old dyke and Eve was in drag."
A sorrowful, haunting figure with curly hair and a large X over it's body. It has both male and female genitalia, as well as dramatised top surgery scars underneath it's breasts. Various hand-prints mark their limbs and face.
Self-portrait in ink. The figure has curly hair, hairy breasts and arms, and has a distant expression. They are surrounded and obscured by many repetitive lines. Messy, small writing says "No energy, no motivation, no care, no anything" and "You don't give a shit. Nobody fucking does."
